Lynn Clark gave me these
daylilies two years ago, and this is the first bloom I've had. Talk about worth the wait!
The black-eyed
susans started from seed last year are thriving despite the heat.

Ginger, Nice to meet another fellow gardener. I've never seen that daylily. It is stunning! Love black-eyed susans! Thanks for joining the fun! Jean
What a neat daylily, I've never seen one like that. Your black-eyed Susans look great. I always love the chocolate brown center of them.
Ginger, love the double daylily, just got some from a neighbor...they are great.
My black-eyed Susans are no where near ready to bloom.
What a pretty daylily! That double bloom is wonderful and I must have some too! Do you know what the name is?
wahh I killed my brown eyed susans!
Yours look lovely though :)
Wow - those double daylilies were definitely worth the wait. Lovely!
Lynn Clark must have given me mine as well, because I sure don't know where all my doubles came from, it is a mystery to me. I just noticed them this year...weird. I am envious of the black eyes.....hey are great!
Ginger, your daylily is a 'Kwanso.' Some people find them aggressive in the garden, but we've never found them to be so in ours. They were in the yard when we bought the house. Very hardy and lovely. Enjoy them!
Our black-eyed Susans haven't bloomed yet, so I enjoyed seeing yours. :) ~~Rhonda
Hey Ginger, don't you just love the black eyed susans? They really do perform well for us.
Hope you are having a great weekend!
