Gloves and Garden Knife Giveaway!

It's my 1st Blogoversary and 100th Post (or close enough)! Thank you all VERY MUCH for reading, following, and commenting on the blog this past year! To thank you, I am holding a giveaway for a pair of Atlas gloves (your choice of size) and a multi-purpose garden knife (I got this one for Christmas and love it). Two "runners-up" will each receive a pair of Atlas gloves. Please leave a comment (with your glove size, XS-XL) by Friday, the 15th, if you would like a chance to win. International readers are welcome to enter. I'll draw names on Saturday and update this post to let you all know the winners.
It's been a fun (and dirty) year! Thanks again for reading!

How exciting for you! Happy blogoversary. I'm not even to six months yet, so I can only imagine how thrilled you must be.

I just discovered your blog, so I feel a bit weird leaving a comment to compete with regular readers. Nonetheless, who doesn't want a new pair of gloves and a garden knife? So I'm size large, and you can reach me via the link to email in my profile, or by commenting on my baby blog. :)

Meredith- Don't feel weird! I know
giveaways are a great way to attract new readers, so it isn't totally altruistic - ha :)
Anyway, thanks for visiting! I'll check out your blog soon!

Happy Blogoversary! I would say size XL, I just actually bought some gloves at the end of the season but my husband has nothing but thick suede gloves which discourages him from helping with some of the more fun gardening tasks ;)

Ginger,
Missed this posting!~ First off how lucky your hubby is to have such an attractive girl willing to play in a pile of compost!

I'll go for the XL gloves! One of my claims to fame has to do with gloves. It was very cold outside one winter and we were working outside, no gloves. So nearby was a Walmart with a rack of gloves maybe 20 foot long. I took every damn pair of gloves off the entire rack looking for a pair of XL gloves. I told them it was crazy for them not to sell XL gloves and that the person that orders the gloves could place them back in the racks.! I hate being discriminated against for being tall, the only clothes I can buy there is underwear and crappy socks.

Randy - Ha! I love dirt and compost - wish I could spend more time in it (or at least with my hands in it)!

As for the XL gloves - my husband also needs XL gloves and they are indeed a pain to find. He definitely doesn't have the selection I do. That said, he always wears the biggest/longest size in most normal stores, and I the smallest/shortest size - so we both have problems finding clothes!

I've always something of a knife afficionado and something of a collector. I consider my Benchmade Model 42 balisong to be one of my prized possessions :D

For gardening though, I haven't tried it, but for all I know this knife you're giving away might just fit the bill.

As for the glove size, I prefer a M if you have it, but if the choices are just between XS and XL, I'll go with the XL :D

Thanks for the opportunity, I appreciate it.

Hi Ginger, love the pile o'mulch. You look a little too comfy on the top of the pile.
Congrats on one year under your belt. It has been a fun year. Funny how a number of us started last winter. I have a Fiskars knife like the one you are offering, great tool! In my opinion one can never have too many pair of Atlas gloves...one for the car, a pair in the garage, one waiting to be washed, another on the dryer....etc. etc. :-)
Happy Blogaversary.

Happy blogaversary to you. Time sure does fly when your having fun. What a fun give-a-way too. I think we can all use new gloves and a garden knife. My size would be med or large. Either would probably do.

It sure has been a fun and dirty year and this one will be even dirtier.

How very sweet of you Ginger. And happy blogiversary! I'm a small glove size. Did someone give you that lovely pile of dirt/compost? I'm jealous!

Kakihara - thanks for following! Your kitty is cute!

Jean - Unfortunately we bought it and had to find a way to get it home, which entailed renting a truck. It was still WAY cheaper than having it delivered. It's just "Mrs. Hutto's Bedding Mix" from that Hutto's place I told you about. It filled up a couple of new raised beds.
