Garden Bloggers Bloom Day - April 2009

Our daffodils, muscari and pansies are done for the year, but I have a few blooms to show y'all as we transition into late spring in the deep south:Ornamental sage, blooming earlier than usual.
Katherine's gerberas.

How lucky to have roses! The red is really pretty. It looks like it's a lot warmer there than it is here!

Aren't we finally having great weather?!?!? I'm so happy. It makes for such great gardening. Nice blooms.

I am jealous...my sage isn't blooming yet! Whats up with that!

Catherine - it's been quite warm here, and we're now past our last frost date. I only wish a super hot summer wasn't the inevitable follow-up to a warm, early spring!

Susie - I love it. Got to garden for an hour or so after work today. It's amazing how much you can do in a short time when it's all the time you have.

Dirt Princess - this is by far - way far - the earliest that sage has ever bloomed. I have no clue why.

Rosemarie - it's free from thecutestblogontheblock.com

Thanks!
